SLIT: If Earl played an instrument, what would it be?
Max: Earl would play the Theramin. That is pure James Lipton, host of “The Actor’s Studio” (by the way, anyone can play the Theramin. It’s just a question of “how well”)
SLIT: How about instrument selections for some of your other characters?
Max: The Tiki God plays ukelele. Milkman Dan plays the Human Ribcage Xylophone. Lemonhead plays the penny whistle.
SLIT: Who plays drums?
Max: You do! Like a superstar!
